A rapping apparatus for an electrostatic precipitator of a coal-fired power plant is provided to perform maintenance, repair and management of whole units efficiently and to reduce working time. A rapping apparatus for an electrostatic precipitator of a coal-fired power plant includes shafts, a plurality of hammers(11), arms(12), and a motor. The shaft is installed at the bottom of each collecting plate pivotally installed on the inside a collecting dust chamber. The hammer and the arm are installed according to a longitudinal direction of the shaft, and correspond to each collecting plate. The motor operates the shaft. The arm comprises an arm body(14) and an arm cap(15). The arms are separated from the shaft individually. The arm body and the arm cap are installed to form a screw coupling structure.
