A cooperation system and method between heterogeneous nomadic/mobile communication networks using a grid service are provided to reduce mutual interoperability burdens between complicated networks by integrating mobility management and authentication management with respect to mobile terminals. A global cooperation management unit(140) provides one or more of authentication of a grid participant and service, authority verification, mobility controlling, and billing and management service. A grid service infrastructure unit(150) supports a common interface among a plurality of resources having different interfaces with a grid service technique, and supports a service in which a node can be utilized as a resource. A grid interface unit(130) controls a grid service for the node by cooperatively operating the grid service infrastructure unit and the global cooperation management unit. The global cooperation management unit provides the grid service to the node according to an SLA(Service Level Agreement), and provides a context-based application scenario for a pervasive communication environment. A mobility management interface(120) enables a GMLA(Global Mobility and Location Applications) sever(100) to provide mobility and location information each domain requires.
