A multi-channel MAC(Medium Access Control) device for a single wireless interface wireless LAN(Local Area Network) device and a method are provided to sense a common channel when channel interface window is initiated from window start time repeated at predetermined periods, and to store a non-unicast frame to be transmitted if the common channel is used, thereby preventing frame loss. When channel interface window is initiated from window start time repeated at predetermined periods, a common channel is sensed(S500,S502). At least more than two devices are allocated to a target channel by using a channel usage vector indicating whether to use each of plural channels during the initiated channel interface window(S504,S506). Frames are transmitted to the target channel allocated with the devices(S508).
