Health beverages composing of extract from Astragali radix root and Method preparing thereof

Herbal health beverages using Astragalus membranaceus extract as a main material and a preparation method thereof are provided to enhance an excretory function. A method for preparing herbal health beverages comprises the following steps of: wet-pulverizing 20-25 parts of Astragalus membranaceus, Kalopanax pictus, mulberry, Acanthopanax sessiliflorus, Achyranthes fauriei, Phlomis umbrosa, Paeonia lactiflora and Glycyrrhiza uralensis in constant size; dipping the pulverized mixture in 100 parts of purified water and extracting the mixture using a vacuum low-temperature extractor; filtering the extract once or twice; mixing the purified water and extract in a ratio of 7:3~8:2 and heating them at 80~90°C for 50~60 minutes; filtering the heated mixture with a 0.2mum filter twice or three times; and sterilizing the filtered mixture at 110~120°C for 30 seconds. The weight ratio of the herbal materials is 18:18:14:12:12:12:9:5. The drying step is performed in a ultrahigh-frequency drier.
