USER INTERFACE CONTROLLING METHOD BY DETECTING USER'S GESTURES

A method for detecting the gesture of a user and controlling the user interface of a mobile terminal through various methods is provided to input data by executing a command about contents displayed on a mobile terminal. A selection point(12) is set up on a display. A page is indicated on the display. The motion of a mobile terminal generated by the gesture of a user is detected. A scroll of one among the selection point or page is performed. A selectable item which is included in the page is located on surface the selection point of the display. The selectable item is selected in response to the predetermined event.
