A vertical drain penetration method using mandrels for vertical drain measuring pore water pressure is provided to prevent compression abort or delay resulting from excessive penetration of a vertical drain. A vertical drain penetration method using mandrels for vertical drain measuring pore water pressure is as follows. A driving part is controlled to penetrate a mandrel into weak soil foundation(S10). A signal transmitted from a pore water pressure gauge is detected and the pore water pressure at the current depth is read(S20). The pore water pressure change between the current depth and the prior depth(S21). The mandrel is stopped when the pore water pressure change is over the limit(S30b). The driving part is controlled to pull out the mandrel(S40).
