A low cost view-volume clipping method and a device thereof are provided to consider a border of a view port in determination of a next scanning position during a scanning stage, thereby enabling view-volume clipping even with a clipping operation for a far-near plane. Far-near clipping is performed for a view-volume far-near plane. A polygon is set based on horizontal and vertical coordinates borders of a view port on one plane, and a scanning start point of the polygon is determined. Vertexes of a horizontal direction and the start point are scanned up to the horizontal border of the view port based on the determined start point(S2). Vertexes of a vertical direction and the start point are scanned up to the vertical border of the view port based on the determined start point(S3).
