PURPOSE: A method and device for connecting a heat exchanging plate of a plate shaped heat exchanger and a connecting structure of the heat exchanging plate are provided to prevent air leakage by fixing a both side part of the heat exchanging plates. CONSTITUTION: A method for connecting a heat exchanging plate of a plate shaped heat exchanger comprises followings. A plurality of heat exchanging plates is formed at the four edges to be larger than the separated width between second curved lines. A first heat exchanging plate is rotated to a second heat exchanging plate to be plied with 90 degree. The heat exchanging plate is laminated on the top surface of connecting side part(111,112) to connect with the second edge part of the second exchanging plates. The connecting side part has the first edge part of the first heat exchanging plates. The tip end part of the connecting edge part is curved based on a curve line(L4) to make a first folding part. The curve line is formed by edge parts(A1,A2) of the second edge parts of the second heat exchanging plates. A second folding part is made while the first folding part is upward folded based on the edge part of the connecting edge part to connect the outer side of the connecting edge part of the first heat exchanging part to the top surface of the second edge part of the second heat exchanging plate. A third heat exchanging plate is repetitively performed on the second heat exchanging plate.
