PURPOSE: Provided is a method for cultivating apples with high content of calcium using shells. CONSTITUTION: A method for cultivating apples with high content of calcium using shells comprises the step of leaf-spraying 0.05-0.20wt% aqueous solution of an ionized calcium agent using shells in a flower bud differentiation period, 15-20 days after fruiting, 40-45 days before harvesting, and 20 days before harvesting at least three times. A liquid silica sol containing 5~10 nano-sized silicic acid particle is stirred at 400-500rpm at 20C. A dispersing agent is added to the liquid silica sol by 0.01-0.1wt% on the weight basis of the liquid silica sol. 15-20wt% calcium chloride aqueous solution is added by 2-3times as much as the amount of the liquid silica sol for up to 3 hours. 0.1-5wt% betaine aqueous solution is added by 3-8wt% on the weight basis of the liquid silica sol and stirred for 1 hour. The prepared nano-sized calcium betaine solutioin is mixed with water in a ratio of 1 to 1 by weight and leaf-sprayed 40 days and 20 days before harvesting respectively.
