A pharmaceutical or veterinary paste-like composition for treating a bacterial infection in an organism of a recipient in need of treatment, comprising: a) an effective amount of at least one therapeutic agent including azalide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof; b) colloidal silicon dioxide; c) a viscosity modifier; d) a carrier; e) optionally, an absorbent; and f) optionally a coloring agent, stabilizer, surfactant or preservative. 2. The paste composition according to claim 1, wherein the therapeutic agent is 8a-azalide or azithromycin. The paste composition according to claim 2, wherein the therapeutic agent is 8a-azalide. The paste composition according to claim 2, wherein the therapeutic agent is azithromycin. The paste composition according to claim 1, wherein the viscosity modifier is PEG 200, PEG 300, PEG 400, PEG 600, monoethanolamine, triethanolamine, glycerin, propylene glycol, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate or polyoxamers; absorbent, represents magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, starch or cellulose and its derivatives; and the colorant is titanium dioxide, a colorant or a colorful lacquer, or a colorant based on iron oxide, caramel, or combinations of various colorants. 6. The paste composition according to claim 1, wherein the carrier is triacetin, monoglyceride, diglyceride, or triglyceride, glycerin, water, propylene glycol, N-methylpyrrolidone, glycerol formaldehyde, polyethylene glycol, triple block copolymers of polyethylene glycol / polypropylene glycol / polyethylene glycol / vegetable glycol /
