In case of a fault in one of the main signal modules, that main signal module generates masking request data for requesting alarm suppression and sends the generated masking request data to the observation and control module through the on-board bus of the device. The observation and control module receives the masking request data, based on main signal channel data, determines the main signal masked module and, through the on-board bus of the device, sends masked main signal module masking control data used to suppress notification of the observation and control module on the alarm.
