The invention pertains to design of a piezoelectric quartz crystal sensor which is modified with thin (tens of nanometres) highly-reinforced calix[4]resorcinarene films for detection of vapours of organic solvents. The method involves modification of the surface of the sensor with a Langmuir-Blodgett diphilic aminomethylated calix[4]resorcinarene film, where the film contains 15 to 25 monolayers at surface pressure of 25 mN/m.;EFFECT: high reproducibility of sensor signal (±3 Hz) with short response time (10-15 sec) and long mean life.;3 tbl
