The invention relates to the structure of the cyclotron targets for the production of radionuclides by irradiation with relevant materials on the internal beam of the cyclotron. The outer surface of the target substrate is made concave toward the inner surface of the substrate, wherein the radius of curvature of the outer surface of the substrate corresponding to the radius of the orbit final internal cyclotron beam.
