A method for producing a composite material with improved weather resistance, comprising (a) an organic substrate and (b) a cured silicon-containing polyacrylate - hard via train - composition, the method comprising:(i) treating at least a portion of the surface of the organic substrate with a radiation-curable, which have been freed from volatile components, and silicon-containing polyacrylate - hard via train - composition and(ii) effect the radiation curing the curable freed from volatile components, and silicon-containing polyacrylate - hard via train - composition, wherein the radiation-curable silicon-containing polyacrylate - hard via train - composition the reaction product which has been freed from volatile components comprises a mixture which, based on the weight, comprises:(iii) 100 parts of a water-miscible organic solvent,(iv) 1 to 75 parts of colloidal silicon dioxide, the by alkoxy silyl acrylate is silylated,(v) 10 to 400 parts of a reactive polyfunctional acrylic monomer and(vi) an effective amount of an anaerobic gelation - inhibitor, in which the anaerobic gelation - inhibitor is galvinoxyl.
