The mechanism has a display e.g. analogue display, displaying a value representing a physical activity. The display is driven by movements of a clammed automatic reassembling mass (20) rotated on a fixed unit i.e. mainplate (7), with respect to a case using a gear-train. The gear-train drives the display in a same direction irrespective of a rotation direction of the mass. The display has a dial (3) equipped with a scale of ones from one to hundred and another scale of hundreds from one hundred to two thousand. An independent claim is also included for a wristwatch comprising a physical activity counter mechanism.
