The device has a forming tool and a sealing bolt, there is a sealing area at an open end of a composite metal tube (1a) for sealing. Recesses are provided within the sealing area into which a medium is provided. The medium, between the individual tube wall of the composite metal tube, is escaped during the interior high pressure reforming process. An independent claim is also included for a method for hydraulic-interior high pressure transformation of a composite metal tube.
