The burner (10) has a heated vaporization chamber (30) formed outside an outlet (38) in a gas-tight manner. The size of the outlet is adjusted such that a gas jet is produced at the outlet by the gas overpressure set in a vaporization chamber by damping the liquid fuel. A flow rate of the gas jet is obtained to produce a mixture in a mixing pipe (40) by passive supply of oxidation gases surrounding the mixing pipe and to supply the mixture to the combustor. The outlet is connected with a combustor (50) through the mixing pipe.
