The manipulator has a set of telemetry units (2) for controlling a set of quartz glass-platinum tungsten microelectrodes by a control station (3). The telemetry units are simultaneously controlled in a computer network using a wireless local area network transmission standard. A position of the microelectrodes can be telemeterically controlled, and simultaneously neurophysiological signals are derived from the microelectrodes and transferred telemeterically.
