The sluice (1) has a housing (2) with an inlet (3) and an outlet, and a cellular wheel drive that is connected with a cellular wheel (7) in a force-fit manner for rotary-drive of the cellular wheel. The cellular wheel drive comprises a coupling between a drive shaft of a drive motor (15) and the cellular wheel. The coupling with the stationary cellular wheel allows a relative rotation of the drive shaft relative to other cellular wheel drive from a neutral position at more than 5 degrees at a drive shaft-longitudinal axis (8).
