The method involves developing a direct, contactless data communication connections (211,212,213,301) between two data mediums (10,201,202, 203) as active communication partner and passive communication partner over a communication field (400) by the former data medium. A temporary adoption of the role of the active communication partner of the communication device (100) by former data medium is realized before developing the direct, contactless data communication connection.
