The method involves encasing a piston rod (2) in a pressure chamber from a protecting pipe adjusted, fixed or moved in liquid tight manner and flow back into the container against the container pressure or into a collection container against the ambient pressure. Pumps are provided with two chambers connected by a perforated connecting part. An independent claim is also included for a device for leakage free decanting of liquids.
