The V-belt (1) has a traction support (4) with traction cords (2), where the cords are embedded in an elastomeric material (3). A set of supporting elements arranged on the cords and is formed from elastomeric materials. The supporting elements include an increased cross-linking degree against an initial state after shaping of radiation such as electronic beam and gamma rays, through radiation-crosslinking. The supporting elements are formed from radiation-crosslinked thermoplastic material or radiation-crosslinked polyamide.
