The method involves selecting a gear ratio of a stator and rotor of a resolver, while the phase angles of teeth sections of the stator and/or rotor are defined. A proportion of number of stator coils is computed such that the phase angles of the stator and/or rotor is implemented in sine function and in cosine function. The coils are arranged on the tooth section of the stator based on a fixed proportion of the number of stator coils. The resolver is manufactured such that configuration of the resolver takes place after projecting described construction of the stator and/or rotor.
