The carrier (1) has a shaft (5) including axial ends connected with two parallel planet carrier parts (2, 3), respectively. The shaft supports a planet gear (4). The shaft and the parts are connected by a connecting area (6). The connecting area is formed by a borehole (7) in the parts. The borehole is defined in an axial end region (8) of the shaft by a radial protrusion (9). The shaft is provided at the borehole in a press-fit manner. The shaft along with the axial end region lies against the radial protrusion. The borehole together with the protrusion is produced by a deep drawing process.
