The method involves moving compression and combustion pistons (3, 4) in compression and combustion chambers. Air is compressed in the compression chamber through a connection in front of a wheel by a valve. The compressed air and/or mixture portions are pressed into the compression chamber. Diesel is supplied as a gas mixture for combustion. Portions of compressed gas is supplied from a cylinder chamber to an exhaust gas opening through a front side of the piston so as to ensure complete decompression of the gas.
