The device (1) has a conveying unit (3) in order to carry harvested goods for cutting to a harvested goods cutting device (2). The cut harvested goods are conveyed into a loading space (10) or retaining space. An overload protection unit prevents the damage of cutter disks of cutting units, during the contact with a foreign body. The cutting units are swivellable independent of each other from its working position to a rearward position. The cutter disks of cutting units are found outside a conveying channel (34).
