The transmission ring (10) is designed as lamella carrier ring, and has a circularly closed lamella carrier area (12). Multiple supporting seats (20) are formed at the transmission ring for temporary production of one or multiple force elements (22) with the transmission ring within a connecting range for an engaging connection. An independent claim is also included for a drive which has a transmission ring unit.
