The instrument (10) a force-transferring unit (22) including pistons (36, 48) and a fluid section, which is separated from the pistons by a sealing element (68). Piston sections (38, 50) include an outer diameter which is matched to an inner diameter of a shaft (12) i.e. pipe. One of the pistons includes piston sections (40, 54) which stand away from the sections (38, 50) in a direction of the fluid section. The sections (40, 54) include an outer diameter which is smaller than the inner diameter of the shaft. The sealing element is everted by formation of double-layered rolled sealing section.
