The device (1) has a clamping device provided at a holding arm (8) e.g. hinge arm, and actuated by an operator. The holding arm holds an object for performing opened baking/cutting process. A gripper (10) is provided as the clamping device at the holding arm, where the gripper is actuated by an electrically, pneumatically, mechanically or hydraulically operated switching element. The holding arm is provided with a hinge, and is fastened to a table, a wheelchair and a stand over a clamp fastener (2), such that the gripper and a switch (15) are located in radius of action of the operator.
