The multistage turbine with concentrically arranged stages on a rotatably mounted axis has guiding of the steam flow in meander-form from the first blade ring (first stage) to the last blade ring (final stage). Deflection of the steam flow between the individual stages is via passages formed inside the casing. Steam is introduced into the first stage via a ring consisting of several hundred nozzles with guide plates and which is integrated into the wall of the casing.
