The gate (3) has gate hangings (4) i.e. gate leaf, made from flexible materials together with an end strip (5) for the hangings. A rolling shaft together with a drive is provided for suspension and movement of the hangings. Gate posts (6, 7) exhibit vertically directed slots (61) for guiding the hangings. Hanging tension producing units are engaged to a lower section of the hangings during opening and closing movements of the gate. The hanging tension producing units are applicable as unit for remounting the guided section of the hangings after a crash-situation.
