The instrument (10) has a guide rod (11), two retaining arms (16, 17) and two valves (36, 37) attached to the retaining arms, where the instrument is made of material such as polyetheretherketone (PEEK), polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), glass fiber reinforced plastic, or X-ray transparent compound material, which is transparent to X-rays. The guide rod is a threaded spindle with right- and left-handed threads (13, 12). The retaining arms include internal threads (18, 19), which corresponds to the right- and left-handed threads.
