The device (100) has a pair of water outlets for outputting water jets intersecting within intake ports (101), where the water jets intersect in center of intake port-cross section. The water outlets are arranged opposite to each other based on the intake port-cross section. A circumferential channel (107) is provided for common water supply of water outlets, where the channel has a water inflow opening (124). The channel is formed between outer parts (104, 108) and inner parts (102, 106), where one of the parts has a connecting flange (110) for interconnection. An independent claim is also included for a method for introducing water into an intake air flow of an internal-combustion engine.
