The device useful in a shower device for regulating properties of flowing water, comprises a housing (20) having an inlet (21) and outlet (22) for conducting the water through the housing, and a water-impermeable mold body (40) arranged in the water flow and containing an active substance (41). The mold body is massive and the active substance is evenly distributed in the mold body. The mold body is removable and rotatable in a storage (30, 32). The mold body is rotatable around its longitudinal axis (L), which is corresponding to the direction of flow of the water. The device useful in a shower device for regulating properties of flowing water, comprises a housing (20) having an inlet (21) and outlet (22) for conducting the water through the housing, and a water-impermeable mold body (40) arranged in the water flow and containing an active substance (41). The mold body is massive and the active substance is evenly distributed in the mold body. The mold body is removable and rotatable in a storage (30, 32). The mold body is rotatable around its longitudinal axis (L), which is corresponding to the direction of flow of the water. A base plate is arranged with an opening perpendicular in the direction of flow behind the inlet. A storage in the form of a recess is arranged in the base plates at both points of the mold body. The mold body has the form of an octahedron, where the bottom surface of the octahedron arranged between the points has four edges, where the length of the edge is shorter than the length of the eight edges between the sides. The surface area of the octahedron is turned opposite to the points of the octahedron around the longitudinal axis. The eight edges of the sides of the octahedron are arranged between the surface area and the pointed ends at 25-30[deg] around the longitudinal axis of the octahedron. A magnet is arranged in the direction of flow behind the inlet and before the base plate. The mold body is formed from a duroplastic with the active substance. The housing is formed out of a thermoplastic. The active substance is a metal, a precious metal, a precious gem, a semi-precious stone, a vegetable component and/or a vegetable extract e.g. from medicinal plants, a mineral and/or a powder. The device is arranged between an armature and a shower line guiding to a shower head of the shower device. An independent claim is included for a mold body for a device for regulating properties of flowing water.
