The arrangement has a retaining element (16) for fixing a frame segment (10) of a front module to an ascent. The retaining element is formed as separate holders that are adjustable along a vehicle transverse direction and a vehicle height direction. A fastening lug (20) and a main portion (18) of the retaining element run perpendicularly to each other. A slotted hole is formed in the fastening lug and a carrier portion in the ascent. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a front module of a lorry.
