The method involves measuring a value of voltage and/or current in each section of a battery management system (2), and measuring a value of another voltage or current in each section of an electrical device (4.1). The former value is transmitted to the electrical device from the system (2) over a bus system (5) and is compared with the latter value. A difference between the values is stored. An estimation of deviation of the former value is carried out with the determined difference. Current value of the constant supply or sample current is varied for each section of electrical device.
