The ski binding has a locking arrangement combined with a support arrangement and locking a base plate (2) in a layer arranged on a ski upper side. A locking device has a locking slider (6) moved to a ski-sided guidance below the base plate in ski longitudinal direction. The slider cooperates with locking surfaces and counter locking surfaces arranged at the base plate according to the guidance in the ski longitudinal direction in an impact-free manner. The support arrangement adjusts a support layer extended into a pivoting path of the base plate.
