The holder has two straight surfaces (F) e.g. wall, with two surface elements (11, 13) that are connected with each other at an edge (15). The surface elements form an angle of maximum of 90 degree against an angle-increasing force at the edge. Wall sides of the surface elements provide surfaces (11a, 13a) of the surface elements such that an adhesion of the wall sides in a corner (E) is performed under application of the angle-increasing force. The surface elements are provided with partial surfaces. An independent claim is also included for a method for attaching a self-supporting holder in a corner formed from two straight surfaces.
