The slide bearing element (8), which is implemented as multi-material bearing bush, for bearing piston bolts (2) in a diesel internal combustion engine, comprises a shaft or a swivel component, which is inserted in a hub bore (7) in rotationally fixed manner, and axially assigned socket segments (11a, 11b) produced from different materials. The socket segments are connected by a friction welding method. A recess is introduced into the slide bearing element in connection with a post-processing of a joining zone adjusting itself between the socket segments. The slide bearing element (8), which is implemented as multi-material bearing bush, for bearing piston bolts (2) in a diesel internal combustion engine, comprises a shaft or a swivel component, which is inserted in a hub bore (7) in rotationally fixed manner, and axially assigned socket segments (11a, 11b) produced from different materials. The socket segments are connected by a friction welding method. A recess is introduced into the slide bearing element in connection with a post-processing of a joining zone adjusting itself between the socket segments for the formation of lubricant retaining volumes. The recess is intended as groove, bag or channel, which is partially or circulatingly arranged. One of the socket segments has a longitudinal groove, which is displacedly positioned to a join line of the slide bearing element. The measures are introduced for creating the lubricant retaining volumes deviating from each other in the socket segments. Each hub bore is assigned to the pistons of the slide bearing elements, which are fixed together for the reception of the piston bolts. Copper or copper-alloy is provided as material for the first socket segment, and aluminum or aluminum-alloy is provided as material for the second socket segments. The slide bearing element is positioned over a press fit in the hub bore, is molded as an insert part in the piston formed as a cast part and locks in the direction of a reception (9) arranged to a connecting rod concisely with a front side of the hub bore. A load-optimized installation position, in which the corresponding highly loadable socket segment is placed in the region of the high bearing load, is provided for the slide bearing element. A material selection and combination of material for the individual socket segment are carried out dependent of the load and/or the costs. Several socket segments are provided for the representation of the slide bearing elements. An independent claim is included for a method for producing slide bearing elements.
