The screw a spindle nut (1) arranged on a threaded spindle (2). The spindle nut is provided with screw-shaped ball grooves (3, 4) that are wound around the threaded spindle. Balls (6) are arranged in a ball channel (5) formed by the both ball grooves. The ball channel is finite, so that the balls are movable back and forth between ends along the ball channel. Each end of the ball channel is formed by a closure part (8) which is attached at the spindle nut. The closure part is made of plastic in an injection process, and is formed by a closure ring (9) arranged coaxially to the spindle nut.
