The vehicle (KFZ1) has a detection device (ERF) for detecting a physical roadway characteristic of a roadway driven by the vehicle. A position determining device (POS) determines a position of the vehicle. A transmitting device (SE) transmits roadway characteristic-position-data objects (Zu-pos1-Zu-pos3). A computing device (RE) is designed such that the roadway characteristic and an appropriate position are converted into the objects, where the objects are transmitted by the transmitting device. A receiving device (EE) receives information about a roadway condition of another roadway. An independent claim is also included for a system for relaying roadway characteristic information.
