Carbonyl group containing chemical compounds (I), are new. Carbonyl group containing compounds of formula (R 1-CO-X-R 3) (I), are new. X : NR 2or O; R 1alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl or heterocycle (all optionally at the saturated spacer of 1-3 C, N, O or S) or polyethylene glycol; R 2H or alkyl; R 3[(CH 2) n-NR 4] mR 5, (CH 2) n-CO 2R 5, (CH 2)-CR 4O, (CH 2) n-OR 5or (CH 2) n-SR 5; n, m : 1-5; R 4H or alkyl; and R 5H, alkyl, acyl, aryl or heterocycle (all at the spacer of at least a methyl group). An independent claim is included for a pharmaceutical composition comprising (I) and at least a further component of a carrier, diluent, anticoagulant, further active agent and/or inhibitor.
