The method for producing a metal matrix nano-composite (MMNC) material for housing of e.g. airplane or car, comprises producing a pressed part from a mixture containing powdered raw materials for the metal matrix and strengthening nano-particles embedded in the matrix, introducing the pressed part into a metallic melt, which contains the raw materials, where the temperature of the melt is adjusted to the solidus temperature of the alloy, subjecting the melt to an ultrasonic treatment to obtain a homogeneous melt, and cooling the melt for crystallization. The method for producing a metal matrix nano-composite (MMNC) material for housing of e.g. airplane or car, comprises producing a pressed part from a mixture containing powdered raw materials for the metal matrix and strengthening nano-particles embedded in the matrix, introducing the pressed part into a metallic melt, which contains the raw materials, where the temperature of the melt is adjusted to the solidus temperature of the alloy, subjecting the melt to an ultrasonic treatment to obtain a homogeneous melt, and cooling the melt for crystallization. The mixture for the production of the pressed part is subjected to a temperature treatment with little vacuum at 600[deg] C and is exposed to a pressure of 100-500 MPa to guide to its consolidation. The volume ratio of the powdered raw materials and the powdered nano particles is 1:10 to 1:2. The ultrasonic treatment takes place at 20 kHz and amplitude of 50 mu m in the crystallization phase. An independent claim is included for a metal matrix nano-composite material.
