The smoke detector has a recess for feeding through a cable of a pendulum lamp, where the detector is combined with a fastening device of the pendulum lamp or a ceiling lamp, and the lamp is arranged vertically under the detector. The recess is provided for suspension of the pendulum lamp installed under the recess. A suspension device e.g. hook, is provided for the vertically installable pendulum lamp. A casing serves for a connector for the pendulum lamp, where the detector is designed such that it is installed as a link between a ceiling and a holder for the ceiling lamp.
