The turbocharger has a housing (12) and a running gear (16) with a rotational axis (20) stored in a rotating manner in the housing. The housing has an exhaust gas conducting section (13). A turbine wheel (18) of the running gear is provided in the exhaust gas conducting section for relaxation of exhaust gas. The turbine wheel is arranged in wheel chamber of the exhaust gas conducting section. Two tongue ends have two smallest radii relative to the rotational axis and an intermediate wall has a third smallest radius. The two smallest radii are bigger than the third smallest radius. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a turbocharger.
