The method involves implementing digital volume-tomography on a throat area in an upside-down position of a person to be examined and with a normally closed mouth position. A lower jaw of the person to be examined is moved to a value of around 4 to 10 millimeters upfront according to the digital volume-tomography. Digital volume-tomography is implemented in the moved position of the lower jaw, where the lower jaw is detected in the moved position using a plastic tool.
