The display device (1) has an image module (2), which produces an image in an image plane. A relay-optics (3) and a deflecting mirror display the image produced in the image plane, as virtual image. The lens surfaces (F3,F4,F5,F6,F7,F8,F9,F10) of the lenses (7-10) of the relay-optics are not inclined to the optical-axis (OA) of the relay-optics and one lens of the relay-optics is decentered to the optical-axis.
