The method involves forming recesses (2.1) in a handle of a medical instrument, where the recesses are opened in a base. The recesses are arranged in rows along a longitudinal axis (A) of the handle and/or parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handle. The rows are arranged around the area of the middle distance of the recesses with each other and/or radially at distance with each other. The recesses are arranged at distance from 0.01 to 10 millimeter. A gripping structure (1.1) is formed on the handle of the medical instrument.
