The connecting assembly (1) has a connecting piece (2) and an end of a hollow pipe (3) invertible over the connecting piece, particularly a flexible hose. The connecting piece has a radial layer (4) with an annular contact surface (5). A front side (6) of the pipe abuts exclusively on the annular contact surface when the pipe is fully inserted on the connecting piece. A part of the contact surface of the connecting piece and a part of the front surface of the pipe are formed in visually conspicuous manner.
