The applicator (15) has a guiding tube (2) with a tubular casing (4) for enclosing a tube opening into which a laser fiber (6) is extendable. The tube includes an end (13) attachable with a handle (14) and another end (7) with an orifice outlet (10) provided for the fiber. A radiation limiting unit is connected with one of the ends of the tube, and is formed as a hook. A screening surface (12) of the unit intersects a tube axis. The surface includes a distance from the outlet in a direction of the axis. A guiding sleeve is arranged in the opening in a region of one of the ends of the tube.
